I’m Ashish Sharma, an AI engineering and quantitative software professional based in Kraków. My work sits between financial domain expertise, applied AI, and production software.
What I do
I build systems that make complex knowledge easier to use without losing its provenance. That includes document ingestion, structured extraction, retrieval, tool-calling workflows, evaluation, APIs, and the controls needed to operate them responsibly.
Before focusing on AI engineering, I worked across market risk, credit risk, and investment management. That background shapes how I approach AI: usefulness matters, but so do evidence, permissions, auditability, and the path to production.
